Our Mission in Sonoma County is to bring our County Animal Shelters into this century by adopting No Kill policies and procedures. No Kill shelters reject euthanasia for population control and adhere to an ethic that no cat or dog shall be euthanized that is treatable and adoptable or can become adoptable with medical or behavioral treatment. It is our right and our responsibility as taxpayers to make sure our homeless animals have a safe haven in the Shelter until they are adopted.
Paws for Change has done a wonderful video that explains the No Kill Equation. Please watch, listen and learn.
